22-year-old Shiva Datta was born with bilateral cleft lip and palate and associated problems.
He displayed great fortitude in undergoing 16 hospitalizations including 13 surgeries which

have left him with speech and eating difficulties. However, it has not dampened his
determination to face life's challenges and he has successfully completed his

secondary schooling and become skilled at the computer besides developing a keen

interest in photography.
