About Us

Labeled as mentally retarded, intellectually challenged, disabled, or sometimes “bechaaras” by the society neuro-diverse individuals and their families often run out of options when it comes to career or skill development. There are organizations working for the welfare of these individuals but when it comes to career choices, the options are very limited.

Mohit, a sibling to one such neuro-diverse inidividual, recognized this and decided to open up new avenues for these individuals. Hence, in 2015, KnowDisability.org was born.

Since then, Mohit has been traveling across India training neuro-diverse individuals in the skill of photography, and motivating parents, teachers and photographers to look beyond the obvious.

In this short span of time, he has trained more than 400 such students some of whom have worked for brands like Hindustan Unilever, Harley Davidson India, Panasonic Lumix, Gurgaon Moms, Rohit Bal, The Princess Diya Kumari Foundation, and have also been featured in print and digital news in India, United Kingdom and Poland.

By 2030, Mohit aims to have trained 1000 such photographers.

KnowDisability.org has a new batch starting every quarter. If you want to enroll yourself or someone you know, just click on the button below and fill up the form. We will get back to you.

I was shy at first and so were they, it took a while (short while) then it was all laughter and amazing photos from then on...
They took amazing pictures and they are as amazing as the photos they took.

I'm always up for a shoot with them.

My experience with the KnowDisability team was as beautiful as one can imagine!
I had an absolute ball being on the set and the time spent will be so cherished always by my heart for it was so truthful, the love, the passion, and the zeal to create art.
Looking forward to yet another session!
